VAS announces 2025 Christmas Charity Campaign supporting local families and communities across Teesside

Middlesbrough-based panel valuation business VAS is proud to announce its annual Christmas Charity Campaign, reaffirming its ongoing commitment to supporting people and families across the Teesside region.
The initiative, now a much-loved tradition within the company, brings colleagues together to make a meaningful, local impact during the festive season.
This year, VAS will be supporting two vital community organisations rooted in the region:
- CAUSE Foundation – A Teesside charity dedicated to providing personalised Christmas hampers for deprived families and individuals. By supplying food, essentials and thoughtful gifts, CAUSE brings comfort and joy to those who may otherwise go without during the Christmas period.
- Redcar Foodbank – A vital support service for people across the Redcar and East Cleveland communities, providing emergency food parcels and everyday essentials to anyone experiencing hardship.
The CAUSE Foundation Hamper Challenge
To champion the work of CAUSE Foundation, VAS teams will once again take part in the Hamper Challenge, creating bespoke festive hampers for a nominated family and individual. Each team will receive a £200 joint budget and nominate one or two representatives to coordinate the shopping and assembly.
Heads of Department will provide details about the family and individual to help make each hamper as personalised and meaningful as possible.
Adding an extra touch of festive fun, a special prize will be awarded to the team that produces the standout hamper—encouraging creativity, care and seasonal spirit.
Hampers will be delivered to the Riverside Stadium on 4 December.
Supporting Redcar Foodbank
In addition to the hamper initiative, VAS will run a company-wide collection for Redcar Foodbank. A donation box will be placed in the office for colleagues wishing to contribute tinned goods, toiletries or small gifts.
All team members are encouraged to donate whatever they can spare—every item makes a real difference to local people in need.
