Hope Capital Property Finance Strengthens Leadership Structure with Director-Level Promotions on International Women’s Day

09 March 2026

This International Women’s Day (#IWD2026), Hope Capital Property Finance has announced a significant evolution of its leadership structure, with all members of its Senior Leadership Team now operating at director-level, marking a landmark moment for both the business and female leadership within the finance sector.

The announcement forms part of a broader strategic move to support the company’s continued growth, long-term sustainability, and governance framework as it celebrates its 15th year in operation.

Following the recent promotion of Kate Cowan to Chief Financial and Operating Officer, the newly structured director-level leadership team is:

  • Jemma Wood – Director of Portfolio, Asset and Risk

  • Kim Parker – Director of Lending Operations and Commercial Strategy

  • Laura Carr – Director of Underwriting, Compliance and Stakeholder Relations

  • Sarah Butler – Director of Brand, Communications and Engagement

  • Stephanie Kinsella – Director of People and Technology

Collectively, the directors represent nearly three decades of service within Hope Capital Property Finance, a powerful testament to the loyalty, stability and long-term commitment that continue to define the business and its culture.

Each has played a central role in shaping the lender’s operational strength, market reputation and broker relationships. Under the new structure, the directors will increasingly transition away from day-to-day operational management to focus on long-term strategy, governance, systems scalability, capital protection and sustainable expansion.

Jonathan Sealey, Chief Executive Officer, commented:

“This is more than a series of promotions, it’s a reflection of the strength, expertise and collaboration within our business. As we continue to grow, it is vital that our leadership structure evolves alongside our ambition.

Formalising director-level accountability ensures we are building a framework designed not only for today’s performance, but for the opportunities ahead. With decades of combined experience inside Hope Capital Property Finance, this team understands the business at its core and is already shaping the next phase of our growth. I couldn’t be prouder to see such outstanding women leading from the front.”

Kate Cowan, Chief Financial and Operating Officer, added:

“International Women’s Day provides a powerful moment to reflect on the impact women are having across our organisation. I’m incredibly proud to be part of a leadership team that is driving operational excellence, innovation and sustainable growth, while also inspiring the next generation of leaders within our industry.”

The strengthened leadership structure reinforces Hope Capital Property Finance’s commitment to governance, collaboration and long-term performance, while reflecting the business’s continued investment in developing and championing female leadership across the organisation.
